Kim Martin

Born and bred in America’s dairyland, Kim Martin grew up amongst the wholesome folks of the Midwest. From Lake Geneva to the great rivers and forests of North Carolina she gained the skill sets to guide adventure seekers down some of the best whitewater in the world. Her love of travel and thrill seeking didn’t end there. Once out west, she tweaked her style of skiing from corduroyed groomers to waist deep powder. And, when the tropics were calling, she ventured to Indonesia where she found passion in her yoga practice. Inspired by the culture of the Balinese and the beauty of body and mind connection, she sought to inspire others and graduated from a 200 hour yoga teacher training and proceeded to teach Vinyasa style yoga in Canggu, Bali for two years. Now a full time resident of Bozeman, MT, she continues her practice of yoga, hikes the rugged mountain landscapes with her dog Indah and skis fluffy powder lines as much as possible.
At this year’s Phlowfest she welcomes everyone to take part in a large group mandala creation using flowers petals from local florists. So, come relax after yoga on Wednesday, grab a beverage and offer your hand in creating a piece of art work representative of life, love and longevity. The mandala appears to us in all aspects of life, the Earth, the Sun, the Moon and more obviously the circles of life encompassing friends, family and communities.
